This also means that we are committed to continuous improvements to ensure the products we manufacture and sell are of the highest quality. Our goal is to develop our products to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Therefore, wherever possible, we choose raw materials with the best environmental profile and, of course, adhere to environmental and legal requirements. This is all aimed at reducing the impact on the environment and human health.
At Cleano Production, we strive to ensure that our cleaning products are as eco-friendly as possible, and almost all of our products currently carry one or more ecolabels.
Quality and environmental certificates
Cleano Production is quality and environmentally certified according to SS-EN ISO 9001 and 14001 and approved for ISO 22716.
Vegan, plant-based and biodegradable products!
We are proud to have products in our range that are vegan, plant-based and biodegradable. This means that we have carefully ensured that:
- No raw materials or end products are tested on animals.
- No animal fats, by-products or enzymes are used in our formulations.
- All ingredients are of vegetable or synthetic origin, selected for their high performance and gentleness.
- The products are 100 % biodegradable - they are naturally broken down by microorganisms without leaving harmful substances in nature.
For us, combining sustainability and ethics with the highest functionality is a given. With this vegan initiative, we are taking a further step towards a more responsible and conscious future - without compromising on the professional cleaning power that our customers love.
What does biodegradable mean?
Biodegradable products are designed to be broken down naturally by micro-organisms such as bacteria and fungi. This degradation converts the products into water, carbon dioxide and biomass - without creating toxic residues that burden the ecosystem. This is an important step towards protecting our waterways, soil and wildlife from persistent chemicals and pollutants.
Why is this important?
By choosing plant-based and biodegradable products, we reduce our ecological footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future. At the same time, the vegan content ensures no animal suffering during production - an ethical responsibility from raw material to finished product. for a cleaner world, at all levels.

Good environmental choices
Good Environmental Choice is the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation's own ecolabel and the only ecolabel in Sweden where the requirements are set by an environmental organisation. The label is one of the organisation's tools for achieving a society in balance with nature, in which environmental benefits, public health and global solidarity are put first.
Nordic Swan Ecolabel
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is a Nordic ecolabel, which means that the Nordic countries share the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. The state-owned company Ecolabelling Sweden is responsible for both the Swan and the EU Flower. The Swan ecolabels many different product groups. The company operates on a non-profit basis on behalf of the government. The requirements for Nordic Ecolabelling are decided jointly by the Nordic countries.
Ecolabel
The Ecolabel is the equivalent of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel in Europe. The requirements for the label are developed by responsible bodies in the EU member states. The work is carried out on behalf of the European Commission. The EU Flower works in the same way as the Nordic Ecolabel.
Cradle to Cradle Certified™
Cradle to Cradle Certified™ is a product certification that assesses a company's products holistically – from raw material to finished product. Cradle to Cradle looks at the whole process, from start to finish. It analyses the raw materials used, workers' conditions and human rights, subcontractors and recycling processes.
Asthma and Allergy Association
The products are free of fragrances, nor do they contain allergens or irritants in such quantities that there are any known, medically reported cases. A full guarantee cannot be given that a product will not cause reactions in individuals, as all people react differently.
