Requirements that differ from a household detergent
Staff use the same dishwashing liquid for many hours per shift, which places different requirements than a household detergent: high and stable foam formation that lasts throughout the entire dishwashing cycle, fat-dissolving ability on grates with dried fat, and a pH close to the natural level of the skin to reduce dehydration caused by repeated exposure over an entire workday.
Skin safety and fragrance regulation
Because the product is intended for repeated skin contact, the requirements for cosmetic ingredients in the recipe apply, and fragrance substances classified as allergens according to the IFRA standard must be listed. An unscented line is often developed in parallel for kitchens with staff who are sensitive to fragrances or who have strict allergen procedures.

2) Sample and price: We provide samples and price proposals based on our needs analysis. You will have the opportunity to try the product and ensure that it fulfils your requirements before making a decision.
3) Authorisation: Once we agree on price and results, you authorise the product for production.
4) Launch: We handle the purchase of materials and manufacture the product in our factory. When the products are ready for sale, we deliver them to you on pallets.

One of our most successful collaborations is with COOP Trading AB. At Cleano, we have helped them in particular to create three different brands in their range. It starts with us creating the recipes. Then we allow COOP to design the product design based entirely on their wishes. Afterwards, we purchase the inputs – such as bottles, labels, caps or spray guns – and deliver them to COOP in cartons.
