Descaler for the dishwasher, like your brand
We produce descaling agents that remove limescale without damaging the machine's materials, sized according to your market's water hardness.
A detergent, not a daily dishwashing detergent
Scale builds up gradually on the dishwasher’s heating elements, nozzles and rinsing arms, regardless of how well the dishwasher detergent is dimensioned, especially with hard water. Unlike dishwasher detergents and rinsing agents, the product is dosed periodically, not in every wash cycle, making it a separate purchase item with a different consumption rate.
Material safety determines the choice of acid
The formulation is based on acidic compounds — usually citric acid, amidosulfonic acid or phosphoric acid in varying concentrations — that dissolve calcium carbonate without attacking the machine’s stainless steel surfaces or rubber seals. The wrong acid type or too high a concentration risk damaging the machine’s materials, making material compatibility the most important requirement specification in the recipe.
Our chemists help you customize the descaling agent according to your market.
Our chemist team helps you to create the perfect composition for your degreaser for dishwashers. You work directly with our experts: Helena, a senior chemist with 25 years of industry experience, Carl, a Bachelor’s degree chemist with expertise in modern formulations, and Kelly, our administrative chemist who ensures that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are followed to the letter.

So we help you create your own descaling agent
1) Product proposals: We analyse your needs and take into account your vision in terms of design, colour and fragrance, and ensure that the product meets legal requirements and sustainability goals.
2) Sample and price: We provide samples and price proposals based on our needs analysis. You will have the opportunity to try the product and ensure that it fulfils your requirements before making a decision.
3) Authorisation: Once we agree on price and results, you authorise the product for production.
4) Launch: We handle the purchase of materials and manufacture the product in our factory. When the products are ready for sale, we deliver them to you on pallets.
Industries where demand is high
As periodic maintenance of tunnel and helmet dishwashing machines in restaurant kitchens, most often ordered by the same customer who already purchases dishwashing detergent and rinse aid, as well as for troubleshooting when dishwashing results deteriorate despite proper daily dosing.

Case

Häxan AB
One successful customer case that we are extremely proud of is our collaboration with Häxan AB. Super entrepreneur Mikael Söderlindh bought the company with the desire to produce sustainable cleaning products. The goal was that the result would surpass or live up to the leading products on the market. At the same time, they also wanted to spread and strengthen the interest in eco-friendly cleaning products for both companies and individuals.

COOP Trading AB
One of our most successful collaborations is with COOP Trading AB. At Cleano, we have helped them in particular to create three different brands in their range. It starts with us creating the recipes. Then we allow COOP to design the product design based entirely on their wishes. Afterwards, we purchase the inputs – such as bottles, labels, caps or spray guns – and deliver them to COOP in cartons.
